Asher’s goes green! Recently, Asher’s decided to join the Philadelphia Eagles, Lehigh University, and others in being proactive about the environment. We did this by addressing the unfortunate amount of waste created specifically by our warehouse. By implementing the following solution, Asher’s Chocolates is taking a proactive stance to become an environmentally conscious business. We joined Sustainable Waste Solutions (SWS), the leading provider of environmentally friendly commercial and industrial waste handling solutions, to turn Asher’s waste into renewable energy. More than 20 residents and staff members of the Meadowood at Worcester retirement community will participate in Walk MS. The event will take place on Sunday, May 1, 2011 at North Penn High School. What makes this group very special, however, is not a walker, but a rider. She is Sherry Leonhardt, the Admissions Coordinator for the Meadowood Health Center. 19 years ago, a doctor diagnosed her with Multiple Sclerosis. Asher’s Chocolates Co. is pleased to announce the live production of “Toad’s Escape” on Saturday, April 30th. The show will take place at the Asher’s Chocolates Retail Store located at 80 Wambold Road in Souderton. Additionally, the renowned children’s theatre group, “Family Stages”, will perform this fun and exciting play starting at 11:00 a.m. All family members from age 3 and up can enjoy the show. Moreover, there is no cost to attend. Furthermore, Asher’s staff will grant admission on a first-come, first-served basis the day of the show.
