Voted as the Most Popular Candy at Manoa Candy

Asher’s was recently mentioned in the Haverford Patch as the most popular and favorite Easter candy at Manoa Candy & Nuts.

“What’s everyone been picking up at Manoa Candy & Nuts recently? It’s obviously their Easter candy line from Asher’s chocolates, which includes their chocolate bunnies and chocolate Easter eggs.

According to one employee at Manoa Candy, the dark chocolate coconut cream Easter eggs are by far the most popular.”

Asher’s would have to agree! This Easter we sold so many dark chocolate coconut cream eggs that we could barely keep up. Get yours today – while supplies last!

Thanks Jennifer, Kim, and the rest of the Patch team for writing about Asher’s!

He intended the creation to be inedible but they were a big hit – the customer asked for seconds! One variation of this story has the customer in question being railroad tycoon Cornelius Vanderbilt. Whoever that first customer was, potato chips became a popular American food item from that day on. Continue reading The History of Potato Chips

What is White Chocolate?

This confection typically appears as an off-white color rather than the deep brown color characteristic of pure chocolate. This is namely because white chocolate contains no actual cocoa powder! So, what exactly is it and can it really be considered chocolate? Continue reading What is White Chocolate?
